Glyn Rees, Managing Partner EMEA Glyn has over 20 years experience in the recruitment industry, holding Sales, Marketing and Operational positions within large blue-chip consultancies and high growth start up recruitment companies throughout Europe. Glyn has recruited across a number of different markets from Engineering, Education, Building Services, Software and Technology,. In 1990, Glyn assisted the start of HMS Engineering Personnel, a division of HMS Personnel, placing contract staff into the Telecommunication sector. Over a 3 year period Glyn achieved revenues in excess of £7Million, offering a major contribution to profit of the HMS Group. From Engineering, Glyn was asked to take over HMS Education Personnel and grew the Teaching sector to £12Million turnover from £3Million in three years. Glyn then took over as Managing Director of E.S.A Executive Selection Associates (a European Building Services Services recruitment business), where he successfully restructured with a completely new team of personnel which set the business into profit. In 2000, Glyn was approached to join HallKinion (an American High Technology recruitment company placing middle to senior personnel throughout EMEA) where as Vice President for the region, his role was to focus on making their European business profitable, which he did within the first year, taking the European Permanent business to £1.4Million from £700K. After 10 years building and managing successful niche recruitment businesses, Glyn started reesmarx europe to offer a truly pan European approach, specifically tailored to the Technology market, offering permanent recruitment solutions to Technology clients throughout Europe for middle to senior personnel in Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Human Resources, Legal and Finance. Since its inception, reesmarx europe has grown year on year, with revenues and profits increasing consistently. Glyn Rees graduated from Middlesex University with a Masters degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) and is a Justice of the Peace ( Magistrate) in Central London.
Ray Tomasco, Managing Partner USA Ray has provided insight around issues of organization, growth, operations and leadership to clients and senior executives for over 16 years. Recognizing and adapting to the needs of early stage and fast growth companies while offering suggestions for funding, partnerships and overall hiring / retention strategies, he brings to reesmarx USA LLC extensive executive search experience and business building background serving enterprise & infrastructure software, B2B ecommerce and IT services clients. Previously, Ray was the Founder and President of three businesses built over eight years, Boehmer, Tomasco & Alexander (executive search firm), Huntington Group (outsourced staffing company) and ITC (interim staffing company) all serving the Software and IT services industries. These companies were sold to Hall Kinion Inc (nasdaq-haki) where he led their expansion as Vice President of International Operations. He successfully managed operations in Europe, Japan, China as well as the US offices in Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Virginia and California. As a Board Member and Executive Consultant for 6figurejobs.com, Ray was also instrumental in the sale to Workstream Inc. (nasdaq-wstm). Ray began his career as a Research Analyst for IBM where he studied market trends in preparation for new product announcements. He also worked as a Senior Consultant at national search firm in the USA developing their Technology division. Ray received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Connecticut University
Toby Butterworth, Business Development Director EMEA Having read Surveying at West of England University, Toby joined Harrods on their graduate development scheme, before moving into the recruitment arena. Initially Toby spent four years in the financial service sector placing accountants into the Fund Management and Venture Capital marketplace before being tasked with setting up and running the permanent Media HR division at TMP Worldwide (now Hudson) which he did successfully. He then joined the PSD Group in a specialist role placing senior professionals into the Consumer market place. With over 12 years senior recruitment experience, an enviable network, and sound market knowledge across a multitude of sectors and disciplines, Toby is responsible for the EMEA business development team. Jenny Dalgleish, Director EMEA Jenny Dalgleish graduated with an MA in English from Glasgow University and completed a postgraduate in Human Resources Management. Fully IPD qualified, Jenny has been in the recruitment industry, in a combination of consultancy and in-house roles, for over 10 years. Having worked with AOL and more recently Accenture, she is responsible for the reesmarx europe's HR, Training & Development and Executive Search.
Nick Gilmour, Recruitment Director, EMEA Nick graduated from Durham University with a degree in Combined Social Sciences before travelling in Africa for one year. Nick returned to the UK and began his career in Recruitment in Inverness. After one year, he moved to London to join reesmarx europe’s EMEA Resourcing team. He has now worked for reesmarx europe for over 5 years gaining extensive, in depth knowledge of recruiting in the High Technology sector. Nick has recruited throughout Europe placing middle and senior level Sales/Marketing, Professional Services, Human Resources, Legal and Finance specialists. He is now responsible for the day to day running of the European Resourcing team across four European offices.
George Peacock, Managing Partner Asia Pacific George has worked extensively with high technology companies both in the UK and internationally on the client side. He has senior management and Board level experience as well as a very successful track record in sales; working in technology, software and outsourcing businesses covering financials, workflow, document management, web-hosting, HR, e-recruitment and services provision. His areas of sector focus have been the financial services and public sector. Experienced in working with multi-vendor projects and channel partnerships, George has been involved in large contract implementations and is Prince2 certified. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Recruitment Society but started out his career in Glasgow selling what was then the newly launched IBM PC. Since then he has worked and held senior management or Board positions at Xerox, Capita, OLM Group, JGP and Reed and latterly as founder of First Business Connects. George worked in New Zealand in 1995 and with a New Zealand wife has returned there to develop his recruitment business and operate the reesmarx brand in Asia Pacific. |
