A great opportunity to join a fast-growing leading eCommerce and EPOS company. They have been building powerful point of sale and retail management tools for a decade. They work with over 45,000 independents around the world, and they span across a variety of sectors in the retail and hospitality industry

Role:

  • The Director of European Operations is responsible for the operational management of the Netherlands, Belgium and London offices. This includes European HR, Facilities, Admin, Support, Finance & Legal.
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiencies across the business
  • Creating an open and energetic culture at every level in the organisation. Leading by example and establishing recognition from employees as a supportive, strong and credible leader
  • The position comes with a range of responsibilities; therefore he/she requires sound knowledge of various company processes and is able to plan and drive different kinds of operational activities
  • Manage and maintain relationships/agreements with relevant external partners/vendors

 

Required:

  • 10+ years proven and successful track record of effective leadership of international teams with budget and headcount operational responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and thrives on problem solving
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and intensely while managing multiple priorities in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Can work effectively and efficiently in fast paced/high growth environment
  • Ideally have experience working for and reporting into US headquartered companies whilst based in Europe
