Our client is a leading association for people who consider project, program or portfolio management their career. The role of Corporate and Government Relations Manager for Europe will help shape the future of Project Management where you will take a lead role in the implementation of their global strategy. 

 

In conjunction with the Strategy team, you serve as a primary relationship leader globally, socializing and cultivating senior corporate and government relationship and managing and aligning regional vendor partners’ engagements to accomplish their strategy. You will guide the development and implementation of account plans to include expansion into the executive relationships and project / delivery networks within each account.

 

Experience & Requirements: 

To be successful you will have a track record of success of running account teams and a minimum of 10 years of experience in roles with a heavy focus on advocacy, account planning and management, relationship building, customer relationship, leadership and coaching. As an accomplished public speaker, you will have delivered to senior level global audiences ranging from the large stage to select roundtable venues in premier and official settings. Leading functional teams focused on account management successful advocacy with governments (across Europe), complex negotiations and sales is essential. The ability to network, lead, communicate and negotiate is essential as is the need to a strong understanding of global political and technological landscape. Experience leading within a large geographically diverse teams of both direct and indirect employees is important as is the ability to lead and drive significant change.

 

  • You be/have a Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Political Science or equivalent
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration is a plus. The role will require travel globally and consistently up-to 50% of the time, with frequent travel expected within Europe.
